what dose of medical Marijana do you recommend? I take methadone 15 mg daily but am having breakthrough symptoms of RLS in early am and afternoon.my Gp has given me a referral to a pot clinic here in NSW Australia for next week. It would be helpful to know what might work . Wonderful help here always

Thx

Hello!

I use cannabis to supplement all the other RLS meds I take - I don't take a particular 'dosage,' as it is not realistically (with flower, anyway) possible to know how many cannabinoids you're getting in a particular hit. I use a lot of cannabis (pain, especially - the US doesn't really treat pain unless you're about to die), and if I'm really having a hard time with my RLS I'll take a 100mg gummie or chocolate. That's a lot of THC, but since I smoke a lot of pot it doesn't knock me out - my pain relaxes (doesn't ever actually go away) my RLS eases, and my mood evens out. RLS does a number on mental health, for sure.

I'd ask the budtender at the dispensary you go to. An experienced budtender at a medical dispensary should be able to get you started in a way that is more likely to lead to success.

Too much pot won't kill you (can't kill you), but too much pot is real drag. Start slowly, I'd start with an indica or indica hybrid. You can always add a little more, but nothing but time takes it away. It won't burn your brain our or anything, though i recommend writing anything down you want you remember! :)

Good luck; I find cannabis to be a way I get to directly impact my experience as a person with chronic, highly unpleasant conditions.

If nothing else, the cannabis makes one care less. Less stress = less anxiety = fewer symptoms (for me).

I cannot say if it will help , we need specific type of flower so I would Google what kind otherwise would be a waste

Dr from John Hopkins said and needs to be edible form so it goes via liver otherswise you would have to smoke every hour.

I’m not an expert in this field but have tried .

I currently use a THC oil which does add to depth of my sleep.

I take 25mg of Delta 8 Indica THC gummy before bedtime along with Oxycodone. It definitely helps with sleep. I use totes with a vape pen of the same product for breakthrough restlessness and it works quickly but as others have said it doesn’t last long. Wish you the best in finding what works for you.

Where are you, in the UK or elsewhere? I have been using 0.9 ml THC oil dispensed to me through an authorised clinic. Unfortunately, after two months, the effect started to wane. So I’m having a T-break and will try and take less when I start it again. You normally titrate up from 0.1 ml. I think there’s 2 mg THC in each ml.
