We are so lucky to live in only the second country in the world where pot is available and legal for everyone of age. Makes me feel less guilty about using it . Works for me eh?

Canadian Pot.
Year I envy you guys
If only you had a warmer country I'd move.
Congratulations to a free thinking country that is a leading light for the rest of us.
The tide has turned and we will all have it in a few years and the cops and drug companies can f**k off as they will be powerless, tough titty prohibitionist kitty
I second that ten times. Ha ha ha, by the way regarding the cat.
In 2016, Human Rights Watch—one of the world’s most respected authorities—declared drug criminalization inherently at odds with human rights standards.
The Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 has been often quoted by addiction specialists and drug researchers as one of the most detrimental aspects of drug use in the UK!
I wish it worked for me. Keep an eye out for a creeping low grade depression which I find accompanies sustained cannabis consumption. It may be worth taking a break every so often.
Remind me Involuntarydancer, was it a legal CBD oil with the THC you tried, ?
Hi Elisse, Unfortunately, anything containing thc is illegal in Ireland. Cbd oil had no appreciable impact whatsoever. I resorted to growing some plants myself (I enjoy gardening) as was very uncomfortable buying it on the street. Also I wanted to know the strain I was using. I wasn’t able to get suitable seeds in the most recommended strains (I think ‘critical mass’ and ’sensi star’ get a good write up) so I grew relatives - ‘medical mass’ and ‘sensi skunk’. I decarboxolated whole buds and made them into a kind of infusion using coconut oil. I take it as an edible. It is a great sleep inducer but neither strain works for my rls.
I found Sensi Star very good, very sedating.
Have you seen raffs comment on the anxiety aspect of too much cannabis or harvest to soon, ? Worth looking at for you.
Thanks Elisse. I deliberately harvested it late to avoid the downsides of early harvested cannabis - a benefit of growing it myself. I only take it intermittently now as I have reduced the use of opioids/Kratom and in consequence my problems with alerting are hugely reduced so I don’t need it so much. It would be a different story if it helped my rls. I’d use it regularly if it did
Hey dancer. Just reading your reply causes me to think even though our new legalization of pot is new we already take it for granted. Not knowing what you are buying and from whom along with the fact that it is illegal where you live makes it a sketchy situation. This damn RLS is like a devil that conspires to meet your every move to beat it, and so I have found that what used to help hardly helps anymore. So you may not be missing out on much with pot so hard to obtain. All the best
I have also experienced anxiety in the morning after a few months of cannabis use. Nothing terrible but as I've never been anxious before it took me awhile to figure out what it is. As soon as I start working, moving and doing things, it passes.
If you get a blast of anxiety, (either cannabis harvested too early or taking too much), try and eat something sweet. I've been told there is a drop in blood sugars that causes this, whether its true or not I don't know but I get benefit from eating if I take too much and get anxious - I believe the normality of eating and the fact that people don't eat when they are anxious quells that anxiety.
I like that solution very much! I will certainly give it a try.
Kind of reminds me when I had tonsillitis and I was given permission by the doctor to eat ice cream...
If you would be so kind I'd appreciate you letting me know how it works for you? Due to the illegal nature where I am I don't know other cannabis users so don't know if it works or its all in my head
It definitely works. there are a few issues to consider, like whether you are using indica or sativa. Indicas better for sleep and Pain Relief and sativa is better for Creative endeavors.
Also, Edibles work better than smoking. Edibles undergo a different chemical process in the body which not only works better for sleep but is longer lasting. I would always recommend edibles.
The other thing is that you can develop a tolerance. So it's best to keep it at the lowest dose that works for you. A couple of years ago I was doing cannabis and I noticed that it was producing some side effects, like anxiety. So I stopped cold turkey. It was hard. Going back onto sinemet, my old dosages didn't work. Even using twice as much as normal, I still had a hard time sleeping.
so I'm hoping that the combination of cannabis and Kratom will work for a longer time.
Yes you are lucky...mirajuana is still illegal here unfortunately.Probably because of the controlling efforts of large drug companies who would loose money.
