I take fennel at night for RLS. Symptoms are gone for several months. Ginger also worked but I couldn't tolerate the drowsiness.

I presume that you're taking this in a supplement or as tea rather than late night snacking on the plant?

I am taking medications. If you mean for RLS, I stopped because all of them caused augmentation. All other supplements pooped out on me. I also get some relief in extreme situations when Fennel is not enough by stretching my legs and calves, but most of the time don't have to do that because Fennel stops 100% of symptoms most of the time. I've been on it for about 6 months and so far it has not pooped out on me.
