I have recently been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea & have been given a CPAP machine to use but it seems the drugs I take for RLS (Oxycodone & Gabapentin) are conflicting with the efficacy of the CPAP kit and not bring down my incidence of AHI during the night.
The consultant has asked me to row back on the RLS meds to help the Apnea but this will cause withdrawal symptoms anyway so it's swing & roundabouts I guess.
Any advice?

Hi I am on Morphine and Pregablin so very similar to what you are taking for your RL S and I also have apnea.I was on CPAP and my AHI reduced but not enough .I switched to Bipap and my apneas have reduced although not under 5 AHI which is the aim .I average around 9 but that's much better than without BIPAP/CPAP. That may be an option for you ,what is your AHI with CPAP? I guess another option would be to reduce either the Oxy or Gaba just very slightly to see if that helps and to see how your RLS reacts to slightly less of the meds Pipps x
