Leg discolouration

Hi, I have had RLS for 30+ years but have noticed recently (last 2 years) that my legs are becoming discoloured. They have patches that look like bruises but they don't hurt or go away. Veins are more blue in appearance too. Does anyone else have this?

Bruise like patches of your legs might indicate that you'r pre or fully diabetic. The main culprit for diabetes is eating too mauch carbohydrate especially refined ones like bread and sugar.

yes, I’ve got that on both ankles. GP is not concerned and I’m not pre diabetic or diabetic. Doesn’t hurt, just looks unsightly.

yes I do. I also have an underactive thyroid too. No idea if the two things are linked though.

Yes, absolutely I have those but believed thosempatches were from my outrageous over exposure to the sun when I was younger. I also bruise very easily....a mere touch can leave me black for weeks. I am not diabetic and live on proteins as much as possible.....haven't had a slice of bread in years. Just can't explain the bruising
