I bought a heated powerbank which will heat to 40, 50 or 60 degrees. When having RLS last night, I put it between my knees or legs. The heat was so hot, that my RLS stopped and I fell asleep with the heated handwarmer powerbank between my knees.
Every little helps 🙂

hi there! I’ve had a similar experience. We have a “Bedjet” system that will blow cooler or warmer depending on the setting and the last few nights that I have experienced breakthrough symptoms, I have switched it over to heat. Each time now, it has calmed my legs down and I can say it’s happened and worked four or five times now. It’s on my list to research some but so thrilled to see someone else has had a similar experience!! Yay for new discoveries!!
I was up reading your blog at 3 am, having a bad rls night.Found my heating pad, put between legs on medium heat , rls disappeared and I fell asleep😀 woke up a few hours later a little warm but relatively rested. Will try it again tonight if needed. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Peculiarly (as is my wont) I find that a hot water bottle or heated pad near my legs in the bed can trigger RLS. I find that I have to get into a miserably cold bed - and sometimes even then stick a leg out - if I want to be sure of staying kick free.
