Hi everyone, I know this question may not be for this forum but,I mentioned earlier that I've been having palpitations. I was sent to Hospital and had a really good examination and bloods taken.ive been advised that beta blockers may help as they believe my symptoms are from Anxiety attacks.I have long thought that I could be suffering from SAD.as these feelings have been happening around dark and winter time.im thinking of buying a light that can help with this condition and would like to know if anyone can advise me on a good and safe light to buy.also I have been reading up on types of Beta blockers and would like to know if any of them can exacerbate RLS.thankyou in anticipation of your help.

Beta blockers should only be used short term for anxiety attacks and not long term. They do make RLS worse. There is one that may not do so - propranolol. You can google lights for SAD and you will find several sites for the best lights for SAD.
Palpitations may be magnesium defficiency and SAD is probably lack of vitamin D through lack of sun. A SAD light will help as will supplementing Vidamin D.
Thankyou Eyrl for replying. Yes I do agree with you on both counts.i have even started taking vitamin D,am looking at a good SAD light,I'm reluctant to begin taking beta blockers or anxiety pills if I can help it.
