Thanks for this Jools. I've come across Chris Kresser's articles previously and his approach always appears to be very sound.
Thanks for this, it confirms my belieff that rls is primarily a systemic inflammatiom problem in most cases and low iron is low on the list and can be the result of inflammation anyway.

Nice that everything is footnoted. He recommends Heme iron which may indeed be better absorbed, but it is fraught with additional risks compared to non heme iron supplements - elevated cardiac and cancer risks. Stick with Ferrous Bisglycinate Chelate a highly absorbed non heme iron supplement.
I was expecting conventional nutritional pseudo science and the article was actually not bad, good share!
