I had a small painful surgery on Friday and the anaesthetist was great. She listened and did not Include antiemetics in the anaesthesia.

I have been given metronidazole to take for 5 days & as I had a terrible night with RLS just wondering if this might be the cause? It does make me feel nauseous but can’t find anything online to say it provokes RLS.

It is just an antibiotic and is fine for RLS. I'm glad your anaesthetist was great. You might want to increase your gabapentin temporarily until your system calms down after the surgery.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your reply. I will definitely increase the gabapentin tonight as I need some sleep!
