Need help methadone

hey everyone. I’m living in Mexico and I need to find a doctor that prescribed methadone. I know this is a long shot but is there anyone who may be able to help me find a doctor who is allowed to prescribe it. Apparently they need a special license in order to do it. I’m living in Puerto Vallarta Jalisco but I’m willing to travel to see the doctor as long as I can get the prescription filled locally. I would be forever grateful. Thank you.

You may have better luck posting on the US rls site or a US Facebook Group. This is a UK based site so we don't have much info on Mexico.There are quite a few US members so hopefully someone will know some useful info.

Between you and me, are you familiar with Dr Buchfuhrer? He is spoken about on this site like a God. He totally let me down. Told me he would help me once I got to Mexico, he didn’t. Told me I wouldn’t develop a dependence on belbuca And I did. He wrote to me yesterday basically said I was lying and that he couldn’t help. Didn’t even give a suggestion. I’m so disappointed with this guy.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I can only speak from personal experience. He has always answered my emails within a few hours and given me free advice which has been extremely helpful. As doctors here in the UK know absolutely nothing, he has been a glimmer of hope at dark times.I'm sorry you have had a bad experience with him and hope you are now getting better treatment.

Belbuca does cause dependence- but not usually 'addiction' where you crave higher and higher amounts.

I'm glad methadone suits you better.

Yes, it seems like the methadone is working. The problem with Dr B is that I tried to tell him that I was suffering from dependence and he just thought I was making it up I guess. Then dropped me. I’m very glad he has been good to you and I hope that continues.
