Hi All, Normal caveat ( we are all different) but pleased to say that 5 days in, taking as advised by GP 100mcg Levothyroxine, no adverse effect. I perhaps should also say that being desperate trying to get some relief from the nightly torture I restarted Pregabalin 6 weeks ago having a stockpile in the cupboard from when I unwisely stopped my then normal dose of 100mg abruptly back in the Autumn ( and knowing I had a GP app. coming up to restock if successful ) since trying in desperation everything I could get my hands on inc. Codeine and smoking street Marijuana, all to no avail. Anyway having reread the Mayo algorithm which suggests most will need 150/300mg and also mindful of I think it was Sue J. writing that people might give up on that class of meds, without ever reaching the right dose. Anyway delighted to say that having gradually stepped up to 175mg nightly 80/90% relief (shear bliss) long may it last. Incidentally no side effects.
