Interesting except full squats are bad for the knees.
I find that if RLS starts when I'm in bed if I turn on my front, hook my feet over the end of the mattress and pull my toes towards the mattress the resultant calf stretching *sometimes* stops the RLS.....
Interesting. Thanks, will try that.
Unfortunately it didn't help me last night!
Leg cramps can be extremely intense and disguised as RLS. Check your calcium, magnesium and B vitamin levels with your doctor.
Shame! Ah well, at least it's free and no harm in trying. Sorry!
I find if I run on one spot as fast as I can until I feel my legs are really tired it stops the RLS enough for me to get to sleep. I think it increases dopamine
Walking in the middle of the night at least 10 min (even walk in place in the bathroom), allow me to go to sleep again. Best on cold tiles....😊
I do the same. Then sleep for a little while and same scenario. Up between 3 to 5 times a night repeating the walk. So exhausting! Sob, sob..!🥺
I'm 67 and l don't think gymnastics are for me but thanks for advice anyway. LOL
