i saw a video that stated keeping your hips above your knees kept rls at bay. 4 cushions later and it seems to work! ive had rls attacks twice in the last 3 weeks and both times i had failed to implement this simple trick. i hope this can help someone out there

Like the sound of it...better than meds...will attempt it!

If it works can’t see any reason not to look at videos and it free , just watch out for videos which want your money.

Could you put a link to the video, or describe how you get your hips higher than your knees while sleeping? Thanks

I think it must be knees above your hips like a baby in the womb. Definitely helps me sometimes.

At the worst I got relief for 2-3 hours sleep by raising my legs to almost vertical with a tower of couch cushions.

the method i use is to sit on a raised seat with my hips being much higher than my knees fo 2/3 hours before going to bed. i find when restless leg wakes me i sleep with bare legs and only cover the main part of my body and eventually i will get some sleep

As with Dic, at really bad times I find it helpful to get legs as close to vertical as possible - usually against a wall. This may indicate a circulation problem as at least part of the reason for RLS
