Advice has been given to taper off pramipexole very slowly. Is it dangerous to taper off of pramipexole too quickly? If so, what are the dangers?

Try Googling "Dopamine Agonist Withdrawal Syndrome" or "DAWS" and you will find some useful information. Not everyone struggles the same way but it really doesn't sound like something you want to rush. There are lots of pasts posts on the subject on this forum with some suggestions for gradually reducing the dose in small steps. Here's one link about DAWS but there are a few others:
Don't do it without tapering. My doctor had me do it last Feb 1 2021 and it, literally, destroyed my brain. I am still not well and don't know if I'll ever be.
In addition, the 10 days of unsupported cold-turkey withdrawal was the worst thing that I've ever gone through. I'd rather die than do it again, and i'm not exaggerating.
You may be fine, or you could have permanent damage. NEVER let them say the dose is to small. You ALWAYS titrate. My dose was small and I nearly didn't make it.
