Hi there - Like me you are on a difficult range of medications. The first you mention - Edoxaban is, I think, a blood thinner. I have been taking rivaroxaban for about two years and I do not think it has made RLS worse. The next one is Bisoprolol and that is a beta-blocker. Betablockers do adversely affect RLS so that might be part of your trouble. I was put on a betablocker - propranolol - earlier this year and after four days on low dosage I had to stop as my hair started falling out and my limbs were all over the place, shaking and jerking. I lost 50% of my hair and it still has not grown back so probably never will. Not mentioning this to scare you but just keep a check. The third Lercanidipine is a calcium channer blocker and will certainly give you restless legs.
There will probably be more folk to advise you soon. I think in your shoes I would try to discuss these with a good pharmacist who might be able to liaise with your GP and sort something out for you. I am not much younger than you and do feel for your distress. Sometimes I think when you have snow on top nobody really listens to you. However, on this site I am sure you will get more advice. Take care
I would go back to your GP & explain what is happening. Some of it may be catch 22 & no altermative as some irregular heart beats require treatment to prevent complications, but there may be other choices. There are lists on this site & I think RLS uk of medicines which can affect RLS
I have to take Lercanidipine 20mg for my high blood pressure. It very definitely affects my restless legs, usually 2 hours after I take it. All blood pressure meds make RLS worse.
Hi again - I just wanted to say that I think you can probably get treatment for your hypertension with a drug which will not cause RLS or add to it if you already suffer. You will probably need to try different ones and be guided by a pharmacist.
