Whoever the person previously a member known as Manerva is, I’m sure they would be amazed at the response to their disappearance. They couldn’t be anything but be grateful for the appreciation shown them.
It’s a technicality, if Manerva had written posts that now have the “Hidden” label, this means in effect that they closed their Healthunlocked account entirely, not just changed usernames. Otherwise, the new username would appear, not “Hidden”.
It is not possible, I believe, for anybody to rejoin Health unlocked either with the same username or even with the same email address, should they even want to. This is possibly because it is a Healthunlocked rule that you can’t have two accounts at the same time, only one.
Since you only need an email address to join Healthunlocked, then unless somebody is tracking the IP addresses of members there is no possible way that anybody should be able to say, for certainty, that any previous member has returned. The email address will be different and there is nothing else to identify the person. This is a part of the anonymity Healthunlocked provides.
That is, of course, unless the “new” member explicitly states, in this case, “Yes, I used to be known as Manerva”.
My view is, if the person once called Manerva has returned and hasn’t explicitly stated that they used to be Manerva, then they may think there’s a reason for it.
My suggestion is that the speculation should stop and ALL members who offer positive contributions be shown appreciation, whoever they are or whatever their username is.
