Side affects of Tramadol!! Lower inhibitions and decision making skills…

Hello everyone.

I was wondering if anyone else experienced strange side effects from the narcotics that they’re taking I am taking tramadol and before that I took a different opiate. I have found a really weird side effect while on both!

I make decisions that are terrible; or at least highly questionable! For instance I almost bought a horse last November I’m on these drugs because of pain and restless leg syndrome and was hardly able to walk yet I literally almost bought a big horse from Texas for a huge amount of money I did research and covered all my bases except for the fact I couldn’t even take care of it or ride it. I woke up in the middle the night with sudden clarity that what I was doing was not wise. Haha!! Looked up the side affects and found lowered inhibitions and poor decision making. I also wrote some strange texts and I’ve been very blunt and honest with people in a way that I am not at all since I’m an introvert and usually afraid to speak my mind.

Much to the horse traders dusgusr I cancelled the order before he shipped the horse to Canada. Then I warned family and friends to let me know if I was acting out of character etc

Wondering if anyone else felt changes brought up by taking narcotics. They do the job for me but I am super careful now about major decision making… and writing heartfelt notes after bedtime Haha

Yes, absolutely these are dangerous side affects. My daughter-in law bought 2 dogs for $5000. my son had to cancel her credit card. I was on Tramadol but don't think I had those issues, however it was a nightmare coming off of it. I was on Ropinirole and realized, after getting off of it that I had been on a buying spree. I am very frugal. Dangerous drugs.
