Has anyone had whole body vibrations when reducing gabapentin?

I have edema which is a known side effect in some people taking more than 1200 mg of gabapentin. I have been taking 1400 mg and have successfully reduced that to 1300 mg but when I reduced it to 1200 mg, on the 3rd night I had quite bad whole body vibrations and had to take an additional 100 mg to stop it so I could get to sleep. Has anyone else experienced this?

Depends on how long you've been taking the drug. I usually have this problem when increasing the dose. This is how I learned that it is not a good idea to change the dose of medicine you always use according to your taste.
