I’ve had RLS for over 20 years now. Mine is so bad I’ve called for an ambulance twice. They came to the door and asked “Did you call for an ambulance for RLS? I said yes. They acted like I was being a drama queen. When I got to the ER they immediately dismissed me. I couldn’t even remember my daughters phone number for a ride home. I get it in my arms and torso. Come to find out two of the medications I was on was severely causing my RLS to be much worse. I still have it but not bad enough to call an ambulance. I still have to take more than prescribed sometimes.

Sorry to hear about your history. Would you like to give us more information about the meds that worked against you ( to build up our knowledge)What are you taking now?

Have you had an iron blood test?

Maybe we can help a little bit?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Sad to hear that you're struggling with your RLS.

As Madlegs says if you give us more detail of the meds you're taking (names and doses) and a bit about your general health it is possible we may be able to give some help.

Sorry to hear this. Sounds like you're suffering augmentation on Ropinirole or Pramipexole. Most doctors know zero about RLS so visiting ER ( A & E here in UK) is a waste of time.Where are you? I am a member of rls.org, the US foundation and they have a list of help groups. You need to see a doctor who knows about RLS and who can help you through withdrawal and prescribe replacement meds like pregabalin or low dose opioids.
