RLS Breakthrough Number 8

This was really my son-in-law's idea, but I thought I should share it with you. He suggested that I take New Leaf Naturals CBD pills. I take 2 pills, each of which is 30 milligrams, 45 minutes before getting into bed. The first night I took the pills there was no benefit. Since then it has added two or three hours to the time I can sleep each night without being awakened by my restless legs. Last night I slept 6 hours and 59 minutes before my waist legs awakened me.

This is really great news as no sleep is no good

This is becoming more than a mini-series :-)

Thanks again for sharing.

Since making six changes in my life a dozen years ago, I have over 130 inventions, at least two of which could have major impacts on the world. Those six changes, plus two other lifetime habits, were on a list of 20 changes that Doctor Dale Bredesen's used to cure over 100 dementia patients.

Thanks. Just ordered some. Will try it too. Only thing that has worked for me is methadone low dose. It works but my mind is foggy most days.

Yes I find the CBD very helpful but you have to take an adequate dose. You are taking quite a strong dose and many people make the mistake of taking a weak dose and thinking it isn't working. Unfortunately unless you are taking a standardised dose you may not be getting benefit as many CBD's bought on line are substandard. I am lucky that my doctor prescribes me a standardised cannabis script and it has helped my sleep immensely.

But isn't your prescription true cannabis, meaning it has THC in it? It's my understanding that CBD has to have THC in it in order for it to work. But that's just what I've read on here.

I have a script for both. Sometimes I take just CBD and it works to help me sleep and I definitely sleep better and longer. It is 100mg per ml and I take 0.3 of a ml - usually enough. I also have a bottle of CBD/THC combination which is stronger and I think the THC combo does help calm the legs more. Best people experiment but don't give up if it doesn't work - you need to find a good product and work up gradually until you find it is working. CBD is not addictive so worth a go. I am on the lookout to find a doctor that would prescribe a cannabis with a vaporiser as this would give instant relief. The cannabis oil is great - I need to take 1 - 2 hours before bed and it lasts all night - feel great the next day. cannareviewsau.co

I wish THC was legal where I live. I've heard it really does help RLS.

Hi my daughter bought me CBD capsules 30mg and I can't believe there relief I've finally had Still the odd night of RSL but on the whole I'm getting better sleep. Still not getting complete night's rest but at least a lot more. 😀

Dr Buchfuhrer told me that CBD with THC gummies would help me get sleepy but smoking the flower bud is what really stops the leg movements within minutes.

CBD helps me with sleep a little but without the THC I’d be sleepless.

Glad several of you are finding relief with it.

Hello,I am interested in what you say as I have tried CBD oil with no positive result. I wondered how the 30mg compares to the different oil strengths?

This is fantastic news!! Am so pleased for you...the relief of being able to sleep uninterrupted must've been heaven!! I've suffered with RLS for over 30 years & the only pharmaceutical I take (absolutely dislike this method) that has ever worked to some degree is amitriptyline.

I have been taking highly soluble magnesium for almost a year which I think has made a huge difference to the attacks. So the amitriptyline is the last resort if I do have an attack but find I have to take them for a few days.
