It sounds as if you are having a bad time. I don't have restless leg syndrome although I do have a vascular blockage in one leg and osteo-arthritis. A couple of years ago it was so bad that after walking 2 or 3 hundred yards my leg felt as though it would explode and I had to stop and rest it. My doctor prescribed blood thinners and statins but after 6 months I decided to change to a plant-based diet with very little added fat. The vascular problem is not completely cured but it has improved considerably and I can walk several miles now. I wonder whether your problem might be made worse by diet. If you don't have much of an appetite perhaps you could manage fruit, which is easy to digest, especially if you eat it on an empty stomach. Water can be more thirst quenching if you add a slice of lemon or orange. Hot water with fresh mint is lovely as well. Going out for walks helps to keep the circulation flowing. I know the weather at this time does not always help but I find that if I make myself go out then I always feel better and more cheerful afterwards. Just a few suggestions. Take care.

Thank you for sharing this.

Unfortunately if this was intended to be a response to what somebody has written they will have no way of knowing as you have made your own post.

If you wish to respond to somebody else's post you need to write a "reply" to their post, i.e. either where it's says "reply to - - - - -" or the "Reply" button.

The person you're responding to then gets and email letting them know you've replied.

As it is, then person you wished to reply to will possibly have no idea you've replied. It's also not possible to identify who your comment is intended for.

I think there may Healthunlocked forums for arthritis (or pain) and vascular problems which you might find more helpful than this RLS forum.
