Tell me. Can RLS progress in 4 months after taking antipsychotics? The situation has significantly worsened in 4 months. It all started with a current in the leg. Tonight, my feet, hands, and face were on fire. Such rapid progress???

The "on fire" doesn't sound like RLS at all. And symptoms in hands and face are quite rare and mainly occur after having taken a dopamine agonist for some time. It is hard to judge, as I realise you are from Poland and you may not have the right words in English to describe your situation.

RLS is mainly an urge to move. See this link for the diagnostic criteria: irlssg.org/diagnostic-crite...

In any case, if I were you I would contact my doctor and discuss what you experience.

Hi Sahhara,

Manerva has kindly replied to you in Russian.

Postings should be typed in English so everyone in this community can understand the messge. I did pm you yesterday explaining why I deleted your messages when written in Russian.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have put Manerva's reply to you in Google Translate and this is what it has come up with. I had to change a couple of the words as it mentioned Restless Legs Cider!

I sincerely apologize, but I did not understand your comment right. I thought you stopped taking anti-drug and antipsychotics. But I see that you are still accepting them.

The symptoms you describe are similar to the Restless Legs Syndrome and this may be the result of taking your medication.

However, the new symptoms you describe, according to Lotte, is not at all like Restless Legs Syndrome.

Write the name of the drugs you are taking. It is possible that your symptoms are a side effect of taking these medications.

Or it's something else at the same time that I don't know.

You should see a doctor for advice.

Sorry about that.

The russian was an interpretation not a translation some things don't translate properly.

The "Cider" was however an error there is only one letter different between the russian for syndrome (Синдром) and the russian for cider (Сидром). I have corrected that error.

Incidentally, both Sahhara and myself have had difficulty with the "reply" button being inactive. Is there a reason for this?

Hi Manerva

I have had no problem with the reply button. I only heard of this from Sahhara and now you. Is it ok now? I can email HU if the "reply" button is still inactive, if you would like me to do so.

in reply toKaarina

The problem seems to be intermittent.

It does seem to be working this time

Hi Kaarina, I believe there is a problem with the reply function. In at least one case I have posted a reply but the reply does not appear in the thread. I have also received two separate emails from HU telling me that another contributor has replied to my thread, including the text, yet when I look at the thread I cannot see their replies. This problem is intermittent. I can forward the two emails if it would help and if you provide an address.

Thank you, Munroist for letting me know. 😀 Now that three users have mentioned the reply function not working properly all of the time, I have contacted HU and will come back to you when I have hopefully received a reply within a few hours. 👍😀
