LDN Low Dose Naproxen. Experience good or bad?

I'm constantly researching other meds to check with my neurologist about. Tramadol doesnt seem to be working for me anymore either. Wondering what the experience with this drug is for anyone who has tried it. Good or bad?

I gave it a good try. Titrated very slowly up and back down to see if I could find a dose that worked but it never made any impact on my rls. However, there are some members who derived benefit from ldn. I think one was called ‘flowergirl’. You could try putting her name in the search bar or search ‘ldn’ to see what shows up.

I had the same experience as involuntarydancer. Tried it for quite a while, at increasing and reducing doses, but it didn't seem to do anything at all.

Incidentally, it is low dose naltrexone. Not naproxen. That is another type of medicine.

Hi......I tried LDN almost 10yrs ago.....I felt it definitely helped with RLS when I first started to take it but gradually over the yrs it didn't seem to have any positive effects but saying that many reviews I have seen by others swear by it...my advice is try it and see......we are all different.......good luck x

My husband and I are taking it. It doesn’t help at all with our restless legs. However it has helped a lot with body pain.

Thanks everyone for your input. I think I'll scratch LDN off my list of things to ask my neurologist about. My next question is buprenorphine. Has it helped anyone. I have read some promising reports about it. Id be happy to hear if it has been helpful for anyone on this forum.

I tried it too with no luck. I think it might be important to find people who are taking it solo rather than those of us who have tried it to help get off of one of the drugs that cause a rebound effect etc. I’m trying to pull completely off of pramipexole- LDN doesn’t touch it, maybe once I’m free of the pramipexole I will try it again.
