Hi

As far as I can see - you can't.
Any chance you could copy and paste it into a thread?
Hi Raffs
Any idea how you do that?
The easiest way is to open the pdf, click on it then:
1) Press both CRTL and A - this will/should highlight all the text. (if text not highlighted make doubly sure you have clicked into the document)
2) Then press CTRL and C to copy.
3)Come to a box here and click in it.
4) Press CTRL and V to paste.
IF its a biggish pdf you may need to do it in instalments and that way you will have to bring your mouse to the beginning of the first word and click there HOLD THE MOUSE BUTTON IN.
Pull your mouse down the page and the text should highlight as you move - if text not highlighted make doubly sure you have clicked into the document and kept the mouse button held down.
Take a page or so from the document then when the page is highlighted follow STEPS 2 - 4.
I hope that is clear enough for you. There are other ways but I find this the quickest and easiest to manage.
Thanks Raffs. I’d lose the formatting of the article but don’t worry I gather from other members that theres already a link. But To be honest I wouldn’t know how to find it, if I didn’t have my own copy.
Thanks.
Hi puzzler, there is no need to attach the pdf. The paper has been published in 2018 and is available online: mayoclinicproceedings.org/a...
But youare right, HU doesn't allow attachment to the posts and replies. Only if you start a post, you can add a photo, which is suitable for short texts (one page max) only.
Raffs and Lotte must get up a lot earlier than lazy me!
They have said exactly what I was going to say.
Only to add that links are all that is necessary for most information on this site.
If you need to quote a particular piece, then copy and paste is adequate.
Ok. So you’re saying there’s a library of information that can be accessed. I didn’t realise that. How do I find it please.
There is not such a thing as a 'library'. That would be a good things to have/ do for the US and UK patient organisations: an overview of the relevant scientific papers and other material with downloadable pdfs or links to the webpages from which they van be downloaded, such as I did for the opioids for RLS paper published in the Mayo Clinic Proceedings. I don't think that is already and easily available.
