After stopping the Fluoxetine and quitting smoking my restless legs have gone completely. Think the smoking has played a big part of the problem for many years (about 20) which gave me restless legs every other day at different times but when I started taking the Fluoxetine the condition was far more severe and my GP prescribed Pramipexole. The Pramipexole was a god send and I stayed on 88microgram tablets once a day for about a year. After reading all the scary stuff on here that’s when I decided I wanted off them. I started with reducing the Fluoxetine and halving the Pramipexole then started vaping instead of smoking and after about 3 weeks the restless legs were gone. I didn’t have any withdrawals from the meds but did do it gradually. Hopefully this will help some of you out there. Good luck!!!

Well done you! Thank you for sharing. Prozac (Fluoxetine) is listed on the RLS-UK website as one of the medications to avoid if suffering from RLS.
