It seems I have started quite a discussion here. I just want to say that using any drug without your Drs. advice is not a good idea. It may not mix well with something else you are taking. I live in a country where I can get it legally with a Drs. prescription, but I would never take it on my own. However, some of you think it has helped and so I will be having a discussion with my Dr. about this. Brunthrush

Re - Medical Marajana ?
There are many here for and against cannabis, many have been the victim of the 'Reefer Madness' stance by decades of corrupt governments.
Many drug workers, those who know about the impact of drug use often say that in the UK the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 is one of, if not the most damaging part of many drugs as it allows for the law to destroy their lives with prison sentences often putting a recreational drug user in a place with many hardened addicted drug users or putting vulnerable addicts back inside where they can easily access all the most dangerous drugs going easier than if they were on the outside!
I'll get off me soap box!!
I have been on medical cannabis for a year now and it is the best thing ever. I do not take any other drugs however. The main thing about it is how it helps me to sleep as I get an average of 2 hours more a night and it is so much easier to go back to sleep when I wake up I get no adverse symptoms and the next day feel great. It also seems to lesson the RLS symptoms. I live in Australia and am prescribed Althea Capilano 1:1 CBD THC. I also find just taking CBD and THCa (non psychoactive THC which has not been heated) to be effective as well. My doctor slowly increased the dose until I found the dose that worked best for me. Too little and you won't feel any effects. All I can say is try it out under the care of your doctor. It isn't so hard now to get a doctor to prescribe in Australia.
Hello!
I agree that it isn't a good idea to make medical changes without your doctor and am surprised to find that this group offers advice that only one's doctor to give. What with the complex medical histories some write they have it's a bit odd.
With that being said, I hope that everyone gets the help they need for this very cruel syndrome.
Stay safe people!
