Medical Marijuana and RLS

I've had medical marijuana for several years for RLS and restless whole body, and other physical pain. lve tried several different kinds but it doesnt really help me, it just makes me high like it did when l was a kid. However l know how it can help you to relax, which can lessen the anxiety and stress, which can be a trigger. For some people it could possibly help calm you down during an attack, just not me

Have you tried lowering the THC content and having higher CBD content Faithatthebeach? If you are getting high you must be having quite a lot of THC.

It works well for me but perhaps not for everyone.

Thanks, you are right the THC is very high. Ive tried cbd oil, higher cbd and less thc but l cant find the right combination. Just tonight l tried an edible and must have eaten much more than l needed because l felt horrible and unpleasantly high but l was numb from pain. This was my first experiencing what everyone is talking about, that it could help pain. However l felt "drunk " too and eventually the dizziness caused me to vomit. I slept it off for a few hrs and then was normal. l discovered that it can help pain with the right combo and using the ones that mellow you or the stimulators, for your individual needs.

However after my terrible experience, l dont think l will be trying any more edibles.

With knowledge that it can work some, l hope its bringing you and everyone who needs it, relief and peace

Don't give up yet Faithatthebeach - try starting low CBD, take a little more each day see how you feel. If you find a dose where you don't get bad symptoms - try adding a small amount of THC and if you feel worse you will know that THC does not suit you. Bearing in mind the full spectrum cannabis is best for our health so a small amount of THC seems to be helpful. The oil is best for that - my doctor made me start on 0.1ml and slowly over the weeks I found that 1ml is the best dose for me. I take CBD/THC 1:1 I tried CBD 2:1 and it didn't help my sleep so much. I don't have any side effects at all with the oil.
