Hi Woody

If you are a subscribing member of RLS UK then there may be a problem.

In which case, private message Kaarina who should be able to help.

Otherwise unless you post a new thread of your own, and people respond

OR

You reply to someone else's thread and someone replies to that

then you won't get any emails, even if you have have your settings to receive them.

If you have the email settings turned off, then I guess you may not even know I've written this.

Excuse the digression.

This reminds of a story I once read where a young man was contacted by an older man from the future who then transported him into the future. When he got into the future he found himself in a deserted city. No sign of the older man,

After years he discovered a time travel machine and decided to open a portal into the past. When he did this he managed to contact a young man and as he was lonely he decided to transport the man into his present.

However, he made a mistake and accidentally transported the man several years into his (current) past.

It turned out that the young man was a younger version of himself and that the older man who contacted him from the future when he was younger was an older version of himself.

If he'd never been transported into the future by himself, it would never have been possible for himself in the future to be able to transport himself.

Back to the plot

If your settings are not set to receive emails, you won't get any, but I've forgotten how to change them.

Hopefully, if you get an email saying I've replied, that wont be necessary.

I just transported myself into the future

If you go into your profile page and click on your avatar on the top right side, then cllck on settings

As far as I am aware, there are no problems on posting in our community whether you are a paid up member of RLS-UK or not. If you would like to receive a daily list of all new postings, go to your profile picture, click on daily list of all new posts and remember to save your changes.

A common reason why you may not be receiving emails is that HU emails to you are being directed to your spam Inbox or being blocked by your email provider (e.g. yahoo, hotmail, gmail). You can resolve this issue by adding '[e-mail]' to your contacts.
