Well I have gone up very fast in the mg of the NORSPAN Patch. I’m now up to 40mg
The reason is so that I could have a stress free flight and be able to sit still
I’m looking forward to coming back and decreasing all my meds
I’m down to 75mg Pregabalin
Down to Sifrol 1.5
Panadeine Forte 4 over 24 hours
Nurofen 4 over 24 hours
So I’m hoping to halve these pills just like I went down half about 6 months ago
My life has changed so much, since the Patch. I no longer have to lie down in the middle of the day because my legs have worn me out. I just live a completely new life.
I am so excited with my new found self that it is still a bit hard to believe
Thank you for reading 👀
I will update in a few weeks when I start decreasing once I come back from my Sunny Holiday 😎

Buprenorphine patch sounds great. It should help you get off Sifrol. My MS neurologist didn’t like the sound of it when I asked about it so I’m hoping King’s College RLS team are more forward thinking. I hope you manage to reduce all your other meds safely.
No - I’m in England. I see the team at King’s College Hospital in London. Sadly they aren’t doing any research as they have no funding and it’s highly unlikely they’ll get any funding.
How the heck can you afford that patch??? I live in US and even using discount svc GoodRX for only 4 patches of only 10 mg each patch it costs over $100!!!
I am on a Pension and a lot of drugs here are on a thing called PBS which is through the Government where there are a lot of drugs for $6.50.
If you have a Pension card which I have. I have only been getting 2 for $6.50 while we are trying it but I was told once we get the right dosage that I will get 4 for the month which will still be $6.50
That is a real shame that you are not on anything like this and I am sorry to hear that.
