That’s what the bad fairies do to you

I flippin knew I shouldn’t have boasted about getting some sleep because here we go again. Standing in the kitchen, leaning against the benches kicking my legs like one of the folies bergere. Not a pretty sight....

If anyone actually saw what I am like I reckon I’d be carted away by the men in white coats.

I’m bone tired and really really want to go to bed but you know the drill. It’s like somebody else is in control of my body.

Just to add to my misery I’m standing here with pjs on, big fluffy dressing gown, 3 pairs of socks and 2 pairs of gloves! I’ve got hand warmers in my gloves, socks, and in my pockets coz the stupid boiler has packed up again.

So all in all I’m pretty fed up. I’ve got an appointment at the hospital at 2pm to see the consultant so maybe by tomorrow night things won’t be as bad. Here’s hoping..

Come on Bella, own up. You can't type with two pairs of gloves on. 😂.......

Or can you. 🤔

Oh yes I can 😉. I might not hit the keys I’m supposed to though and bearing (no pun intended) I also have tremors in my hands it’s more good luck than good management that I actually get to say what I mean to!

So if you happen to swear at us we will have to forgive you as we know it’s down to the tremors and the gloves 🤔 think I will see if I can get away with that one too 🤣

I'm with you all the way. We could form our own dance troupe as along with the rls twitch I'm also having to exercise the leg that has recently had a total knee replacement . The resulting daytime dance moves are quite innovative but the night time ones I will not describe as such as the descriptive language could close me down. Hope your appointment brings results.

Oh you poor thing. I can’t imagine what it must be like for you. Thankfully my rls didn’t start until years after I had my knee replacements. The only solace I can give you is that once your knee has healed it will make such a difference for you.

In the words of a certain tv programme

“Keep Dancing!”

Thank you. The TKR is great, probably because of the rls 'exercises' so must be positive as am having the other knee done in May!! Oh joy!!
