Iron level

I received news from my G.P. today that my ferritin level has gone up from 98 to 130. This has taken about 6 months from when it was 47. I shall continue taking the iron tabs in the hope of getting the numbers even higher, but this does mean i won't now be able to get in iron infusion. Good

luck to everyone out there.

Well done. I read between the lines that this increased level of ferritin hasn’t had - so far - any positive effects in your RLS symptoms. Correct?

It has helped although I am not by any means symptom free day or night it is so much less than it was. Regards

But that is a good thing! We tend to think in ‘all-or-nothing’ solutions, but the reality is that everything in between can happen. At least the iron had some positive effect. I hope mine (2 weeks ago) will be somewhat effective too.
