I know Involuntary Dancer has tried dipyridamole, so have a look at her posts.
I’m off to look up Alpha Stim as I haven’t heard of that.
I have tried dipyridamole. I think that the very small effect I had at first was probably placebo.
But it is a safe and inexpensive med to try - it has been around for a very long time, though not for RLS, so the safety profile is well-known - so no harm in trying.
I did get an alpha stim treatment at physical therapy once a few years ago. I was there for plantar facsilitis, but since I also complained about RLS and insomnia they put it on me. . I did not notice any benefits but I only had one sesion, and it was in the middle of the afternoon. I did wonder if it might be helpful to use in the evening on a regual basis. Please keep us posted if you try it.
