My experience last 3 months originally I was on 5mg neupro patch and 3mg ropinorole I wanted to get off the patch so I then got on 4mg ER ropinorole and 3mg ropinorole then cut it down to 2mg ER ropinorole and 3mg ropinorole I would get the rls attacks from time to time dealt with it at night I would cut a 2mg ropinoloe in half and take half at 8pm and at 9pm a 2mg ropinorole fell asleep around 10p would wake up around 4a did it for a month it was very irritating until I came to terms To live that way for life or go back to the beginning now I’m so happy and I say this to EVERYONE dealing with RLS I am now on 2mg neupro and 2mg ropinorole at night now I have ZERO rls symptoms and at night I sleep till 7 or 8am I’m an early riser but I tell you from my heart guys this is the best combination for a normal life rls free the patch is 24hr

That's fantastic that you've set up a system that works for you for the time being.

I'm sure that you've read up on this site about long term use of dopamine agonists, which may lead to augmentation in, hopefully, the far far future.

May be worth checking it out well ahead of time.

Meanwhile, congratulations, and enjoy your life.

That's really great, it's such a release when you get effective treatment for RLS.

Do consider what Madlegs says however, there's many folks in here who, like me, and now you have got that fabulous relief from the RLS symptoms who, maybe years later, have suffered augmentation due to taking dopamine agonists.

That’s great news!
