Hi everyone, hope you had areasonabley still night. Im now on 200 pregalin and its two weeks since I started. Im trying to be patient but its only working with tramadol. My question is , is it the tram thats working or I am I taking preg unnecessarily. Im asking because its diffult to get tram a d my doctor is giving it to me on the pretence that its for my shoulder pro lem

Your question is very hard to answer conclusively. You will have to find out by trial and error. Such as, do a few days without the tramadol, get back on and stabilise again, do a few days without pregabalin. For the latter, you may first have to titrate down slowly. Same with tramadol if you are on a somewhat higher dose (but I seem to remember you’re not, 50mg only?).

Have you discussed this with your doctor? And have you shown her/him the opioids for RLS paper from the Mayo clinic proceedings? I do hope you succeed in getting your doctors support in finding an effective medicine for your RLS.
