I am on two mg patch and 100 mg Tramodol , having trouble no sleep so doc said to have 3mg patch I want to come off Tramodol I have come from 4 a day to 2 Doc all ok with that just reduce 1 per week , how high is anyone on with the patch wouldn’t it be nice if something worked for a week

I would NOT increase the dosage of the patch but I would increase the tramadol by 50 mgs. and see if that does the trick. Tramadol knocks many people right out. You can take up to, I believe, 2000 mgs in a 24 hour period. However, I would not advise that. 200 mgs is what works for me at night plus full-spectrum CBD oil.

5 days ago you were coming off the patch, now you want to increase it? I’d be very cautious about doing that, I believe you have also suffered augmentation previously.

Tramadol can also occasionally cause augmentation (although it may just be tolerance) so increasing the dose of this is not wise until you determine which medication is no longer working.

I understand you have an appointment with the neurologist in July. Can you wait til then? It may be a case of getting down to base level (which will be difficult) and starting again. See what he says, in the meantime make notes of how you feel and when, it’s very easy to forget everything when you go in for your appointment.
