Replacing Requip with Tegritol. Bad or good idea

I have been on requip now for three years and it has finally become so nasty and so ineffective somethings else needs be done. I have slept 6 hrs in the last four nights and just thinking of making that transition is scaring the crap out of me. Anyone have experience with this drug? My docs wife has been using it 400mg at bedtime and seems to work. My worry is that going from one to another is going to leave a gap in both drugs effectivelness. I would feel so much better if I were in a hospital for this change. It is so stressful being on your own to deal with the unpleasantness as I believe the stress is

actually a trigger as well. Any Advice?

I had the opportunity around six plus years ago , not knowing anything about methadone . I now know there's a huge difference between street meth and lab meth.i tried the lab methadone 5mg at night before bed , what a life changing decision . I wish bad things on many people but these Dr.'s that say this is possibly a bad thing , have never experienced RLS . Methadone had been the answer for me and I can only hope it works for all suffering. IF ??? Methadone would have anything to do with the end of my life I'll say this I'd rather die without RLS than live with it !!!! To live with it is hell !! Best wishes JCB
