Neupro patch Dizziness

I would be very grateful if some of you give me your experiences with Neupro patches. I am using 1mg now (starting in June) . I stopped Pregabalin 7 weeks ago.

Neupro seems to work quite (though not very) good for the time being. What irritates me is a sort of dizziness and weakness, my head feeling a bit queer. Not when sitting or lying down, but when walking.

I have to take a small amount of Candesartan for blood pressure and a statin for cholesterol. But I think the dizziness is from the Neupro (my doc says it should get better).

Hi!

Hopefully the dizziness will pass for you. I know that some have reported feeling general weakness on it, but I seem to do okay (am on the 4mg patch).

I do sometimes experience itchiness at the site, though. I have also recently felt that my skin is drier overall. I have a little suspicion that this is from the patch, so I use a body oil recommended by the pharmicist to put moisture back into the skin.

I am fortunate that I get on fine with Neupro. I know it works as my legs tell me if the patch has come off!

Fine that it works for you. I use Fixomull stretch over the patch and with this, it is firmly fixed.

I did experience a kind of feeling as if I wasn’t quite all there. I felt as if I might fall any minute. Unfortunately it never got better and I came off it.

I feel similar. Thank you for writing back. I hope that it gets better, otherwise I will have to take another route.
