Hi im new here. Has anyone replaced mirapex with requib and did it work? Iv been taking mirapex for 6 years. It stopped being affective. Doc wont increase dose said im on max dose. He gave me requib and refered me to nuerologist. Im pretty terrified that it wont work.

I've been on requip for 7 years now with only a slight increase of dosage.

Hi Scarlet

Replacing mirapex with requip is unlikely work and will only make your condition worse if you are suffering from augmentation.

What dose of mrapex were you on and what dose of requip are you now on?

Read up on augmentation and talk to your doctor again about withdrawal from the dopamine drugs and replacing it with something else.

I’m new here, but have begun looking into RLS aggravated by low iron, and possibly high Glutamate levels. I know, as if we don’t have enough to think about.

Orgasm at bed time can alleviate some severe RLS for hours.

This has led researchers to conclude a correlation between iron deficiency and high glutamate levels.

I started on a mineral supplement and am curious if anyone has heard of Glutamate levels being a culprit , more than low Iron?

I take Kratom 2xdaily for RLS. So far so good it’s been 30 days or so
