Hi everyone I take Pramipexole and that is the only one that works for me. I have the odd day when nothing works but most days as long as I start taking them from lunchtime I'm fine

Hi moysie,

Pramipexole can cause Augmentation so be wary. Watch out for symptoms starting earlier in the day and/ or worsening.

As Jools says, read up on augmentation and check your symptoms particularly as you are having to start taking medication at lunch time. That could indicate early onset of symptoms.

Yes, again Augmentation is a problem (not one that a previous consultatant even recognised! ) BUT if the Pramipexole is working then keep going with it. For me, when I say 'working ' I mean that I get 5 out of 7 full nights sleep and week, compared to 0 out of 7 at the worst times. Yes, I sometimes suffer with RLS in the day but I have to - currently - balance the pros and cons, so I continue on Pramipexole for now. 😊

I’m glad it works for you!👍
