Sometimes It goes & I have no probs with it -usuaally when the weather is cold but it keeps coming back in the summer weather when my feet get hot

I too sleep better when the weather is cool - and I've heard the same from others on this site. Why this is, I don't know.

It may be related to your diet. Do you tend to drink more soft drinks and eat ice cream and the like, or fruit deserts with sugar and cream during Summer? Could be that you're sensitive to sugar and carbs. I've virtually eliminated my rls by cutting out sugar and sweetened foods and regulating high carb foods. Sugar is an inflammatory food, so it may be causing inflammation of nerve receptors and hence sensitivity. Also it is antiseptic, so it can affect the gut microbiome, for which there is evidence of a neurological connection. (see 'Gut' by Guilia Enders)
