Loadsapeople.

It seems to depend on how much THC there is in it.

I haven't used it ,but there are posters here who have. With varying results.

For what I understand, medical CBD does NOT have THC in it. It does not get you high.

You can buy it with or without THC. I would not waste my time, personally, if no THC. But, that is me.

CBD, or cannabidiol, is helpful for the Fallout from RLS, which includes the anxiety associated with lack of sleep. In other words, you will feel calmer about being miserable, which is something. It is also a powerful anti-inflammatory, and there are pro-inflammatory aspects to all disease, including ours. It can only help your general health, and cannot harm.

Taking it every day for life would not be a bad idea.

Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is the only psychoactive cannabinoid of at least 113 identified. It also controls pain, which would include the 'discomfort' of RLS.

The best way to use it would be an ingestible, a cannabis-cookie, which is slow to act and long-lasting. You would take it an hour or so before sleep.

I recently found a fabulous cook and gave her a little bag of (illegal) buds.

She turned them first into cannabutter, then into a batch of the most ridiculously flavoursome Parmesan biscuits, which I had to tuck out of sight because they were so very tempting.

Half a cookie calms my legs. Not completely, but it helps.

It took me years of asking to get this far. Now purveyors are coming out of the woodwork.

A Parmesan cannabis biscuit doe does not look or taste like anything illegal, so you could put them out for tea when the cops come.

I’m coming to yours for afternoon tea!

You would be most welcome.

The only difficulty would be eating too much.

Remember the fabulous cheese-straws your mother used to make? Think that X 10.

Hi...I started taking cbd oil a few weeks ago but only had 500 mg form a company called Koi. I have just read somewhere on here that you need three times that strength! And it’s not cheap! Let’s hope we can join in the legalised cannabis party! But I doubt it....well not any time soon!

My experience is that CBD from cannabis , not from hemp, helps rls because it contains the. No, you don’t get high. There is a physician in California that will do a phone consultation with you to help you determine how much to take. Yes, if you live in an area where it is legal I would highly recommend pursuing. It helped me greatly the few times I tried it but I do not live in a legalized area. I take 4.5 mg of LDN now after weaning off Pramipexole. Hope this helps.

I am very interested in your experience with LDN. Did you start at 4.5 or work up to it? Is it all you need to stop RLS?

I started taking one LDN capsule ( half my dose) along with half my regular dose of Mirapexfor 2 weeks and then quit Mirapex altogether and added the second dose of LDN. I still get occasional symptoms especially if I have any alcohol at all. Then I either use a CBD pill before bedtime or take a very hot bath before bed. I also rub an essential oil blend called Nighttime Leg Calm on my low back which helps. I am just so glad to be off the Mirapex!

Thanks so much!! That helps a lot and is awesome news!!!! What is the name of the CBD pill you use? I have been smoking an indica before bed but have read that smoke is bad for the gut.

The current capsule is from Pura Elements and is a 1:1 THC/CBD

I use CBD with THC and have had super results that I can’t quite explain. I was weaning off Mirapex at the time (had been at .5x4/day and augmenting for years though I dind’t know what it was). I use the Indica strain, which has enough THC to make me groggy, so I only use that at night. I sleep so amazingly well! During the day I use CBD with less THC and it works great. I’m on vacation - no CBD/THC for 12 days, and only 3 times have I had symptoms. I took Mirapex those times. I’m eager to get home tomorrow (so I can use the CBD/THC again) to see if I can go to zero Mirapex in the next week or so.

I posted elsewhere in this forum that I’m not sure what the great change is due to, or how long it will last. I suspect it’s due to sleeping well having broken a cycle my system had been fighting with, and also almost off Mirapex.

Congratulations! You are a shining inspiration to me that it can be done! It took two months to reduce my dosage from .5X3 Mirapex to .5X2. How long did it take you to wean off of Mirapex? What brand and how potent is your indica/cbd (oil??) and how much do you use to get that blessed sleep??
