Do you think this is connected to Restless legs Syndrome, or your medication for it?

I would be investigating whatever happened two years ago, when it started?

Good luck.

Have you fully grieved for him,? or unresolved issues around that unfortunate event.

This is outside the scope of this board.

But,if it were me, I'd be looking at a grieving workshop, to release my tears.

All the best.

Could both be due to inflammation caused by sugar intake. Worth investigating, won't cost anything, and won't do any harm.

How would I get tested?

A diabetic's blood sugar tester would give you the figures. I've found that by cutting out sugar, cakes, biscuits (cookies) etc. high carb foods and sorbate food preservatives, I've been able to eliminate my RLS.

Hey! I had swollen eyes terribly for years and now I hardly ever wake up like that. After MUCH trial & error I realized that I am sensitive/allergic to certain preservatives. Have not figured out which one (of the thousand+ possibilities) but it’s definitely prepackaged food & spice mixes, almost all frozen food, and often in fresh restaurant salads. I’ve ruled monosodium glutamate. I can usually avoid the very swollen eyes and face by avoiding these foods.

Best o’ luck to you,

Hi. Have u had ur eyes examined by optician. I also had swollen eyelids and very dry itch eyes, turns out I have Blepharitis where the gland in eyelids don't drain well. I now use hot eye mask morning and night and have been shown how to clean and massage glands to clear and have drops to help viscosity of tears. My gp doesn't now deal with eyes and told me to see a local Minor Eye Clinic optician who can refer to hospital if necessary. Eyes look a lot better and feel much better, not so dry and puffy. Once glands unblocked dead easy to do morning and night. Made a massive difference, plus fibromyalgia keeps changing my prescription. Good eye health is very important go and see ur optician please.

We’re so u get hot Masks?

Hot Eyemasks from most opticians or Boots. As is Blephasol. You can also get cold eye masks they are for different symptoms. To be honest I would rather my local optician get my money considering the expert advice on eye care they give rather than a large store. If u do have Blepharitis then u should also be using Blephasol. Cotton buds are the cleanest and cheapest way to use it. Mask first then Blephasol. No difference in price between Boots and my opticians but please get ur eyes properly checked. Optician can check ur blood pressure by ur eyes and check quite a few illnesses during the exam through ur eyes. Depending on ur age it is either free or look for special offers on eye check ups.
