I’ve just read somewhere of a woman having this test done, and found she had it, the doctor gave her xifaxan, an antibiotic, she says she had 2 courses of it and it got rid of the sibo. (Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth). She is now on LDN. And says her rls has gone completely. Anyone heard of sibo tests before? Or had it done?

Sibo
Yes. My son tested negative for SIBO, but the doctor said the test was not great, so she gave him the antibiotic anyway, and it definitely helped his RLS.
Thankyou for the replies guys and the links. Might have a chat with my gp about this.
I have had RLS for 20+ years and recently read about the SIBO connection. I have a new gastroenerologist and he immediately ordered up blood work and an endoscopy that showed nothingbut I had to ask him for the Breath Test which I took this week. It is expensive but showed I was positive for SIBO. The doctor has prescribed ciprofloxacin. My understanding is to start LDN immediately following the completion of the antibiotic but there has been no mention of that from the doctor. Has anyone had experience with this method?
