Yes, I take .5 mg twice a day, it helps with the anxiety caused by the RLS. I also take 5mg twice a day of oxycodone which gives me enough relief to sleep about 5 hours each night

I take 1 mg per day, split up in .5 mgs for each dose. It is used for anxiety of any kind, not just for RLS. IT also helps other meds, like pain meds work better, like a booster. By itself, it does not work quiet as well, but there are some people who can take this one med by itself. I use it for anxiety, to boost my pain meds, and it therefore does help with my RLS.

What did Dr B recommend?

Have not yet read Dr. B's info nor submitted an email to him. Wanted to get thru his info before I send a question. Incidentally, the Webinar he dis that was recommended is GREAT. A real wealth of RLS information.

Good luck on your procedure.

Doctor has prescribed 0.5mg twice a day for me, but it had limited effect and I've stopped taking it to avoid a nasty addiction.

I hope it works for you but please be aware of the nasty addictive potential as one of the most addictive drugs in existence.

All the best.

Nathan.

Hey, thanks for the heads up on Klonodin. My doctor (not an RLS ) prescribed 2 mg. I took it 2 times and it overwhelmed the RLS and put me in to a sound sleep. I was so disoriented and groggy the day after, that I decided to forget this one. Took me a week to get back to normal.
