Chewing gum for RLS
Interesting.. but wondering what difference having the CBD oil in chewing gum will make.
...and why combine it with Gabapentin? I never smoked so chewing gum as a delivery method might be preferred. Also,it seems to imply it enters the body through absorption in the mouth rather than through stomach/intestine. At least someone is innovating. Worth keeping watch on this. Hope one does not have to sit up chewing gum all night!
CBD oil is taken by mouth or by using a vaporiser not by smoking it. I have used CBD oil and it did nothing for my RLS, not strong enough. And chewing gum takes air down and i gave up chewing gum cause it filled my stomach with air.
Watch Big Pharma clamp own on CBD - too many are using and benefiting from it.
Personally speaking I'd need one with THC in it as well.
Smoking cannabis is a fast and easy way to deliver and manage dose. I could have cooked the cannabis and it went further but it would have been harder to work out dose and can take too long to digest.
I take CBD-oil. Biological one, 5% CBD only, works better than the raw one. Helps me sleep better. Started out with one drop under the tongue right before bed. Ended up with 4 drops, works fine for me. For improvement of sleep. I take ropinirol 0,75mg for the RLS.
Legal too. Variant with THC gave heart palpitations.
Hi LotteM,
Question about CBD oil- I did use it successfully a couple years ago, had to discountinue but that's a too-long story. Wanna seek it out again- but...it seems everyone sells it. I know it can vary in quality/purity and concentration-my Q is how did you choose a reliable supplier/brand- and is there one you'd recommend as quality???
Unfortunately for you, I live in The Netherlands, and have no experience buying CBD-oil in the USA. However, I did look for brands (in my case from Austria) with a quality control certificate (in my case SKAL for "biologically" grown stuff; but that's Dutch too).
I guess you'd have to use your general knowledge, google and your gut feeling together with a bit of trial and error, to find an USA source.
Maybe other US-people can give you some advice?!
