Hi y,all. Hope your nights are short and sleep filled unlike most of us. Has anyone heard of Kinesiology in relation to rls and it's positive or negative effects?

Regards to all, Martin

April 16 1998 - Carol in "rlshelp.org" found great help from a kinesiologist - who gave her a recipe to follow. You can check it out.

If you put kinesiology in the search box at the top of the page, you will find some past posting on the subject.

OK, sorry, if you type in kinesiologist in the search box past postings come up ie a posting from Twiggster, 10 months ago entitled Too Much Glutamate and mentions kinesiologist and there are 24 replies. Another one is entitled Kids with RLS by ellamarshalls mentions kinesiologist in text with 19 replies.

Hi Kaarina,

Thanks for this. I've managed to have a good read and found it really interesting. I've now emailed my Kinesilogoy contact who is highly regarded in this field. I'll let you know how it goes. It could be perfect timing as I'm just starting to come off my Ropinerol ready to go onto Gabapentin.

Regards,

Hamish58

We look forward to hearing from you again, Hamish. I wish you well with your journey of coming off the Ropinirole. Look after yourself. :)

Thanks for the replies, don't help much though as if you do a search nothing comes up related to rls, also what was the recipe that was followed?

If you go to that website , there is a list of pages. Click on page 11 and scroll down till you get to the referred date and name Carol. She posts her experience with a Kinesiologist and their advice. You will also get Dr Buchfuerers' reaction.

Hope this helps.

I got this by Googling "Kinesiology and rls" - there are a lot of results for that search. This was the most informative at short notice.

Hi Madlegs1,

Brilliant ! I've managed to have a read of the correct post and found it really interesting. I've just emailed the recommendation I've been given who is supposedly surperb in her field of Kinesiology. I'll let everyone know how it goes, especially as I'm now starting to reduce my Repinerole to go onto Gabapentin. Something of which I know you've all mentioned as being awful to do !

Many thanks,

Hamish58
