RLS BACK

I had my varicose viens stripped and have gone months without RLS came back last night massaged ibuprofen gel in 10ml always works fof me. Have had symptoms in my arms as well. Was taking anti histermin tablets as eyes and nose running. Think that was the cause.

Hi Docholiday ,love the name ,I had below the knees stripped about 30 yrs ago but didn't have RLS then ,and of cause stripped veins only last a few years ,sad to say ,I had mine injected last year but that hasn't helped me at all my RLS is no different even though I was told it would help ,have since learned it's all a fallacy doesn't help at all ,but when you were in hospital did you have pressure things on your feet so you don't get blood clots? as I have heard from some that it stops legs twitching for a while

No pressure pads. Just bufned them out. He did put the canvas like plaster tape round instead of pressure stockings hell getting it off. The ibprofen gel is the only thing that has ever worked for me but has to be the 10% I think only voltorol do the 10% rest is 5% if you dont pay for your prescriptions ask doctor for some. Good luck

I would imagine the antihistamines were a major contributor to the restless legs. Should stop when you can give up the AHs.
