Hi I have been suffering with RLS for quite some time and I would like to keep in touch with other people with the same condition, to find out how they cope with this problem.

Hi, love the photo of the kitties. We all suffer on different levels on here some mild some severe. And we all cope in different ways. Is there anything you wanted to know about. ?

Many thanks Elisse, at the moment I have found a way of reducing the symptoms by taking Roprinirole, Tramadol and Paracetamol. I suffer with it in my arms and legs and at times I cannot keep still. I need to keep on the move during the day, it is the night time that is the worst, how do you cope and do you take any medication?

Hi welcome aboard,, everyone has different stages ,some weeks not to bad just the odd night up and down when trying to sleep then you go on a downer when you are up most of the night for some nights in a row ,some people have a lot worse than that when they have it through the day as well , it's not a nice thing to have ,it's great to be able to vent your misery out on here but also the good times ,there are a lot of different meds and it is a good place to discuss what you are taking and what else might help you there are a lot of very nice people to talk to ,,cheers

Hi, I unfortunately have it in my arms as well and suffer with it during the day as well as nigh time. I try to be positive, and find that if I make myself busy during the day it takes my mid off the RLS. At night I read a book, listen to music, but if I have a bad night, I get up and go downstairs to watch the T.V. I take Roprinirole around 8.00pm, then at 10.00pm I take Tramadol and Paracetamol up to now this has eased my symptons, but I still have good and bad days. I hope that one day we may get lucky and they can find a way to cure this misunderstood illness. Take care.

Wouldn't it be fantastic to find a cure ,I would love to have a normal sleep instead of being drugged ,or up and down ,just to be able to lay in bed just listening to the rain or wind (,with a bit of day dreaming ) I hope they find something in the next few years so a lot of us can remember a NORMAL nights sleep ,I quite often sit with my iPad and either watch Netflix ,or play solitaire,, keep in touch and let's know how your coping

Love your kitties! I have had it now for a year I guess. It's not just the legs - arms as well! Would love to get to know others with it around me. I find mine is not too bad, especially if I can take a hot bath before bed.

Silki what is your dose of Ropinerole you take. ? I am wondering if you are having some augmentation, as you say you have it during the day and in your arms. Taking Ropinerole can make things worse, which is called augmentation.
