Low Iron and Rls

Went to ENT to read sleep study. Turns out that I have mild sleep apnea.Two options, loose wt or go on cpap.Also have low iron 50. Going to Neurologist tomorrow. Has anyone had experience with iron infusion?

Although the GP tells me my iron levels are OK ( he bases this on my not being anaemic) I take Spatone every day - this is water from Snowdonia which is naturally rich in iron.

My doctor put me on iron tablets even though my ferritin level looked a healthy 69 -and it has helped.

The neurologist put me on ferrous gluconate 65 mg of elemental iron equivalent to 325 mg of ferrous gluconate 3 x daily with vit c for absorption. Ferrous gluconate is not supposed to upset your stomach.
