Thankyou for your birthday wishes but unfortunately its not been a very good one! Freddie is poorly, we got up this morning to find he couldn't walk and at first I feared a stroke but he is only 19 months old so didn't seem likely. Anyway the vet things it's a slipped disc, he has had a Morphine injection but will not take anything by mouth so can't take his painkillers. He hasn't had even water for 24 hours and hasn't moved since we carried him in from the vets 7 hours ago so looks like he will need admitting to go on a drip. The plan today was a trip to the coast but obviously that was scrapped. I will celebrate my birthday on Sunday when we are having a family barbecue x

Hi Pipps, I am sorry to hear that your special day turned out to not be a good one :( because of Freddie being very unwell. I hope he will soon be on the road to recovery, like you. :)

Enjoy the planned Sunday BBQ. :)
